Well, I'm back everyone!
Corinne's Blog By Corinne on 27/08/2007

Well – I’m back everyone!

Did you miss me? Rachel gave me a lovely holiday in July – of which more later, of course!

First of all, do take a look at THIS dress – it’s from my new, most favourite designer at Frock; Rene Derhy, whom Rachel and I discovered in Paris. We were a bit too late for the summer collection, but it’s been worth the wait for the Fall. Check out this frock and also  ...

...in which I go to Ascot Ladies Day
Corinne's Blog By Corinne on 28/06/2007
Hello everyone. I soooo love June – not only is it my birthday month, but there are many, many lovely occasions to go to – starting with Ladies Day at Ascot.

Now the day started out wonderfully sunny and I twirled down to Richmond station to catch the train, wearing this gorgeous silk organza dress and these divine shoes! ...

A big birthday surprise...
Corinne's Blog By Corinne on 23/06/2007
Well hello everyone! I hope you’re all having a good time in blazing June (not!!!) don’t despair – I reckon we’ve got at least three months of the summer still to go, AND there’s the hols as well!

Well first I have to blog to you all about the most special day of the year - yes, MY BIRTHDAY….well, it was absolutely wonderful, because as usual, I got to decide EVERYTHING as it was my special day!!!!

Dearly Beloved couldn’t get the day off work this year, although I had my favourite breakfast – with a rose!! (smoked salmon and scrambled eg ...

...in which I get soaking wet before I reach the Bath!
Corinne's Blog By Corinne on 07/06/2007
I don’t know whether I should tell you this, but Dearly Beloved has a bit of a secret side. Where as up until recently (i e, until lovely Frock launched!) I couldn’t walk past a branch of Top Shop without popping in, he has the same affliction….only, my problem is that in his case it’s with Millets!

Yes, yikes and double yikes, I know, but what can I do? I’m left toying with a piece of Kendal Mint Cake, as he dives into the telescopic extending Bivouac mummification bedding , or teeeny tiny teepees. The gadgets have me yawning more than anything….thousands of applications for that gas in blue cylinders (although NOT I ...

Hia everyone!!!

I have been SO busy, you won’t believe….Rachel’s had to take on a new girl (sorry….COLLEAGUE!) called Carol….she does all the packing when I’m busy on the phone.

It seems you all like Frock! Which makes us SO happy! Rachel’s just been a bridesmaid at a wedding in Malta! She wore a lovely old rose beaded dress – if you email enough, ...

...in which I capture the castle
Corinne's Blog By Corinne on 08/05/2007
Hooray!!! Dearly Beloved’s plaster came off yesterday, so I wasted no time in getting him to drive me down to an enchanted castle for the day! Bodiam castle is owned by the National Trust. Now when you’re out and about in the country side, style never takes a back seat (that’s for the picnic!) so I wore this ribbed bat sleeve dress with slip underneath and a chunky brown leather belt.

...in which I go to the Frock launch party!
Corinne's Blog By Corinne on 04/05/2007

Well I’ve just tottered over to my trusty laptop, and it seems to have gone midday already…wow, what a night to remember!  You may have realised (as you’re now reading this) that Frock went live live live last Thursday, and so we had our VIP star-encrusted wonderful launch party, at the delicious Blag Club in London’s Holland Park. (Swankieville even for me!) It’s a darling little club, done out in a gorgeous deep red, with lots of yummy little buddhas in glass cases, and a very yummy bar boy too!!!

…in which I have a day of Wags, Nags and Fascinators!
Corinne's Blog By Corinne on 20/04/2007
Have you ever been to the Grand National? Well it’s something else, let me tell you. Me and the girls got a tilting train up to Liverpool Lime Street Station which was fine, (although I thought my heels had gone wrong as I nipped to the buffet) and my thermos of chilled champagne (people forget they can keep things cold as well!) went down a treat! Once a Girl Guide, always a Girl Guide I say!

The great thing was when we changed trains for Aintree, we got this darling little local train, but it was ENTIRELY FULL OF SERIOUSLY DRESSED UP WOMEN. Talk about a style express! I tell you, we had to stand, and you ...

…in which I realise that a boyfriend with a broken leg has its advantages
Corinne's Blog By Corinne on 19/04/2007
Now here’s a thing. Dearly Beloved and I had tickets for Razorlight at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre. Of course these were booked as a present ‘for me’ ages ago, before DB came a cropper with his puck and had 8 of the Horsham Thunderers bearing down on him with their sticks raised! But what to do? He was in plaster up to his thigh (over which his team mates had daubed all sorts of things a girl shouldn’t read).

…in which Cambridge win the boat race, and I win the style contest!!!
Corinne's Blog By Corinne on 18/04/2007
Now on the 7th April, I had to go to the Boat Race. I have to say that I think it’s a bit of a swizz really, you stand for hours shivering and then these two boats whizz past, usually when you’re rummaging in your handbag for your phone!

Anyway this year my DEAR friend Lisa was throwing a party – she lives in a road just off the river in Putney. Now I live in Putney too, but at the other end of the High Street, so it wasn’t far to go. Dearly beloved hasn’t had the plaster off yet form the Hockey ...
