Frocks this month: 5  Shoes: 2 pairs

Now my absolutely top-notch favourite trend-du-jour is the embellished look. We all love jewels and a bit of sparkle for Christmas so this is the perfect look for the festive season! Remember less is more with this look, so don't go too overboard!

Since everybody is on Facebook these days, some of my old chums from Putney High had been repeatedly poking me, and we all decided (completely on line!!!) to meet up for an impromptu reunion!

Now what to wear – I didn’t want to dazzle everybody – but we were going to a new bar in W1, so obviously a frock was in order – and quite frankly, I’ve been looking for an excuse to buy this lovely embellished silk dress – look at the lovely soft gathers that make this very much a designer double! – It’s just soooooo lovely – a real classic tour-de-force from Hollywood!!!!

I wore these heels and took this pretty leather clutch purse. We had such a laugh at the reunion – a real riot! Fortunately, Tamara Latimer- Minor had bought along some of those delegate badges which was rather handy as I’m just useless with names!!! It didn’t help that some of the Facebook photos seemed to have been embellished as well!
