What I like about working for Frock is that we get really lovely deliveries from our French suppliers all through the season – something new every fortnight or so. Now I had just put the phone down the other morning, when the delivery man dropped off a big box full of this dress. Carol said I was squealing as I tried it on – and I knew it would have to be my first frock du jour! The lovely beaded trim on the neck, and the geometric almost Aztec print is soooo original, but on the lovely soft silk it is light as a feather! If they had hemlines this high it would be a real flapper dress – very 1930s Singapore! Now when February 14th came around, and DB nonchalantly offered to ‘pick me up from work’ I made I sure I packed the dress along with some nude tights and these fab sandals which tied in with the gold embellishments on my frock! Needless to say, it went down VERY well at the Michelin starred restaurant – and a very romantic evening ensued!
